A 41-year-old Murrieta man who allegedly aimed a cell phone up a woman’s dress and took photographs of her panties was free Monday on $2,500 bail. Humberto Rocha Cisneros was arrested Friday at a 99 Cents Only store in the 25200 block of Madison Avenue, according to Murrieta police Sgt. Rob Driscoll.
Cisneros was confronted by another woman who observed the alleged Panty upskirter taking photo’s and took his cell phone away and notified the store personnel.
Police reviewed the store’s surveillance system and identified Cisneros as the one taking the upskirt photos, the sergeant said. The alleged victim had been unaware of the photos and, when told, chose to seek the suspect’s prosecution, Driscoll said.
Cisneros was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of taking a photograph without consent, a misdemeanor, and he is due in court on March 5, jail records indicate.
A 51-year-old Lake Elsinore pastor who is a registered sex offender suspected of using a cell phone camera to peek up skirts pleaded not guilty today to a misdemeanor count of concealing a camera with the intent to invade privacy.
John Albert Kleinpeter of Murrieta was not in court for his arraignment but entered the plea through his attorney.
Kleinpeter listed his occupation as pastor of the Generations Community Church in Lake Elsinore, John Hall, spokesman for the Riverside County District Attorney’s office previously said.
Kleinpeter, convicted in 1982 of assault with intent to commit rape, sodomy or oral copulation, was ordered to return Feb. 9 for a trial-readiness conference.
There will be no preliminary hearing.
